My name’s Becky, but I also go by Becks, B, Beckster, Uzzy B—you name it, I’ve probably been called it. I’m a photographer based in Edmonton, AB, but you’ll find me travelling wherever the action is. Whether it’s drag racing, dirt tracks, or some other impromptu adventure, I’m there with a camera in hand. Motorsports photography is my jam—seriously, I love this stuff, man. The thrill of capturing heart-pounding moments of drivers pushing the limits of their speed and skill, combined with the sounds, smells, and electric atmosphere of an event? Yeah, that’s where I come alive.
So, Fuelled Up Photography? That’s my baby. It started when I picked up a camera as a kid and realized I loved it. Then one day, I got dragged into the world of drag racing (pun intended), and I had no clue it would become my passion. But here I am, fully submerged in this full-blown adventure. When I’m not out there chasing the perfect shot, you’ll find me deep in editing sessions, working on my graphic design skills, or exploring the world of videography, which I hope to add to my services soon.
But hey, there’s more to me than just photography (although, let’s be real, it’s a huge part of who I am). Outside of work, I’m your typical sports-loving, music-vibing, local pub-loving gal. When I’m winding down, I’m probably binge-watching murder documentaries—because nothing says relaxing like true crime, right? lol. And, of course, naps are life—I’ll catch some Z’s any chance I get.
I’m known for my sarcasm, quiet moments, and cracking jokes that don’t always land, but hey, I give it my best shot. I’m all about keeping things light, fun, and real—life’s too short to be anything but yourself. Oh, and a fun fact: I’m obsessed with giving nicknames. If I give you one, it means I think you’re awesome, and it’s my way of showing I think you’re good people.
